At the meeting, Mr. Peeyush Sharma (Bi ut Sama) - General Director of Coca-Cola Vietnam Beverage Company Limited informed about the company's production and business activities in the Vietnamese market. Up to now, Coca-Cola Company has 3 production factories located in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City with over 18,000 employees working. Long An will be the fourth factory invested and built by the company with an area of about 19 hectares. In addition to production activities, the Coca-Cola Company annually spends about $2.6 million on social security and environmental protection activities.

He said that the company is preparing to start construction of a factory in Long An province with an area of 19 hectares, with a total investment of 136 million USD. This is Coca-Cola's largest factory in Vietnam, applying smart factory model and modern techniques. At the same time, the Company will accompany the province in community activities such as: Program for a zero waste Vietnam; garbage sorting support; build a community center to provide clean water for the community./.
