Meeting Wakayama Prefecture delegation in Long An province

In 24/11/2015, the Vice Chairman of Long An people committee - Nguyen Thanh Nguyen and leaders of departments had a meeting with Wakayama Prefecture delegation, Mr. Hiroyuki Tsui, Director of Department of Foreign Affairs, Wakayama Prefecture, visit and looking for cooperation opportunities in agriculture with Long An Province.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Mr Takanori Yamashita - investment advisers of Long An Province has introduced to the delegation the situation of agricultural development in Long An province, especially in a number of agricultural products that local development, like: dragon fruit, lemon, nuts, lotus seeds, sesame seeds, peanuts

At the meeting, Mr. Hiroyuki Tsui said that Wakayama is top development of agricultural in Japan, while Long An province is also a strong local agricultural development in Vietnam. Therefore, two provinces we have a lot of similarities to cooperate in this field. Mr. Hiroyuki Tsui said that in the delegation, there are few firms specializing in transport, agricultural processing are looking for investment opportunities, cooperation in Long An
Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Nguyen welcomed and appreciated the potential of economic cooperation between the two local province, particularly in the context of the two countries are preparing to participate signed partnership agreements transpacific Pacific (TPP)
Mr Nguyen said the Japanese agricultural products already have good quality will be more potential Vietnam market acceptance. Meanwhile, the province of Long An enterprise also needs big companay for cooperation and support in the processing and distribute of Long An agricultural products to Japanese market.
